What does COVID-19 mean for future events?
These are unprecedented times for all of us. However, there should be comfort in the fact that everyone is in this together. We know that the country (and the whole world for that matter) is on high alert, as most have self quarantined or at least begun socially distancing themselves in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 to those that are at higher risk.
As you can probably imagine, in a world where we are trying to keep people isolated, it does not bode well for an industry focused on bringing people together. We ask that you please be cognizant of the threat that our industry is facing over the next few months – an industry that provides 7.8 million American jobs. We humbly request that our clients, and others that were affected, to please reschedule events rather than simply canceling.
The future of our industry depends on consumer confidence in booking events. So moving forward, any new event booked before July 1st (for events in 2020 or 2021) will be secured by a fully refundable deposit. Please feel confident in booking with any of aVenue Event Group’s 25+ venues and know that if the present situation is not resolved, or for any reason if you need to cancel your event, know that your deposit will be 100% refundable. We definitely recognize the hesitation in booking anything at this time, and we certainly prioritize the health and safety of our clients and employees over all else.
