Top 10 Orlando Holiday Dinner Party Restaurant Venues
It’s a party, and it’s what’s for dinner! We love holiday dinner parties as an alternative to the traditional company holiday party. There are a ton of benefits to hosting a dinner party in lieu of a large holiday event, like:
✨ You don’t have to rent the venue and the caterer separately, you just pay per person.
✨ You can host a dinner party on a “school night” without worrying about getting home too late.
✨ Hosting a holiday corporate event is a great way to say thank you to your employees for their hard work this year.
✨ It builds stronger relationships in the workplace.
✨ Most restaurants still have availability to book your group.
There are quite a few venues locally that will provide a unique holiday party experience…while staying within your budget. Here are 10 Orlando Holiday Dinner Party Venues that we recommend:
Ok, so we know this venue may require some unique tastes, but what a great foundation for a unique holiday dinner party experience. There’s so much to Kabooki that’s not on the menu. Chef Henry Moso is dedicated to giving each guest the opportunity to experience his locations with saki and cocktail pairings as well as sushi tastings and a Chef’s Omakase – a 15-18 course, immersive sushi culinary experience. Can you see why we love this place? And with 3 private dining rooms you and your guests can indulge in some great sushi and conversation. Even on a school night.
Most people wouldn’t consider this place for a traditional dinner party…which is exactly why we put it on the menu, so-to-speak. We’re all about creating an atmosphere with our events regardless of size or function and the Wellborn Hotel does an amazing job of that. This venue is suitable for a more laid back, hip crowd looking for an instagrammable mix of history, nature, and whimsy at their dinner party.
A dining experience can be as luxurious as you want and you don’t have to rent a ballroom or a hotel room to have it. We think the Capa at the Four Seasons is a perfect way to maintain that elegant holiday party feel without having to coordinate an entire ballroom of people. They have lounges, terraces, and even a private kitchen for cooking classes and private chef dining experiences. It doesn’t take much to see why this is a great alternative to your company’s holiday party.
Dinner parties are meant to be fun! And the Groovy Goat is no stranger to creating a fun time to eat, drink, and play. They have a large arcade/entertainment complex with over 40 games along with 100+ TVs and a state-of-the-art gaming room. Their private dining options start with groups as small as 15 guests seated so your group isn’t too small to party! And what’s a holiday party without a little friendly air hockey competition?
This venue is best for groups that think the first ingredient to making a holiday dinner party memorable is good beer. We recommend the Barrel Room and the North Patio for smaller groups looking to enjoy a cold one with their co-workers to celebrate the holidays and the end of another year. It’s a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor seating so not everyone is crammed in the same room. We know that’s sometimes best depending on the group. Ha! And we’re happy to accommodate. Your team can also enjoy customizable elements such as koozies and your company’s own brew. It’s the best place for a casual, low-key holiday party, but it books quickly so we think people might be on to this one!
6. THE PHARMACY
We love a venue that realizes their atmosphere is equally as important as their menu. And the good folks at The Pharmacy get it! This speakeasy-inspired dining experience is a perfect way to welcome the new year of 2020 – The Roaring 20’s. You and your guests can experience classic libations along with a fully appointed menu and a gorgeous patio. This is a perfect example of when the theme comes with the venue. It saves on time and money without taking away from the unique experience.
We love Vines because there are 3 individual private dining rooms to choose from that range from 20-60 guests. Sure, you could rent out the entire main dining room, but these little nooks are amazing for smaller, more intimate gatherings. Not to mention, that since this is a wine bar, there are 1. Tons of great wine options 2. A very classy, upscale feel which is more common for a traditional holiday party. So you and your guests can still get all gussied up!
Keeping it classy and still offering a unique take on dinner parties, the Bull and Bear offers a menu of jaw-dropping (followed by a lot of excited chewing) fare, including specialties such as a 36-Ounce 28-Day Dry-Aged Tomahawk Rib Eye and Veal Oscar. Their dining room is elegant with a club-like warmth and handsome furnishings creating an atmosphere of luxury and class. Perfect for those wanting to dress up for their holiday party.
This local spot is both warm and familiar. The owners, Jason and Sue Chin, also own Seito Sushi so creating a culinary experience with an inviting atmosphere isn’t new for them. We love this venue because it creates the coziness of a neighborhood restaurant while still offering a high-level of culinary and wine knowledge. It’s as if you’ve invited your own friends over to cook for you and talk about wine. We recommend this location for a close-knit group (or one that’s looking to connect more) to celebrate the holidays and reflect on their accomplishments from 2019.
10. THE RAVENOUS PIG
If you’ve been in the Orlando Area for a while, you probably already know about the Ravenous Pig. This local restaurant (now with a brewery) has been a crowd favorite in our town. We love them for so many reasons like their sustainable food sourcing practices, their love for the community, and of course, their damn good food! It’s an experience all on its own. You can tell they love bringing people together so much so that they have a special group dining menu. It’s the perfect place to get together with your team for good beer and pimento cheese! You won’t be disappointed.
BONUS: Here’s a unique local option that’s pretty underground, yet really high in demand. Why? Because the experience is very customizable and personalized. Check out La Tavola where you and your guests can have their own personal Chef (the former owner and chef of K Restaurant). Now that is definitely not that same holiday party you’re used to hosting and we can coordinate the whole thing!
