Introducing Two New AEG Venues: The Wellvue and The Axe Trap & Remedy!
aVenue Event Group is expanding our venue roster, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce two new (and very distinct) venues! The Wellvue and The Axe Trap & Remedy are our latest additions, located on opposite sides of Winter Park. These two venues bring entirely different styles but are great spots to consider for your next event!

The Wellvue
On one end of the spectrum, we have The Wellvue–a large, versatile, private event space at the Center for Health and Wellbeing. This state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to strengthening the body, mind, and spirit, surrounded by aesthetically pleasing architecture. The venue has floor to ceiling windows that look out into the park beyond, chic wood accents, and open areas to accommodate larger gatherings.
Venue Highlights
The Wellvue is an 80,000 sq. foot venue with separate unique spaces that make it extremely easy to accommodate all groups. And because of the size and openness, it can be transformed to your liking!
The Commons
With its tall ceilings and open area, the Commons is the perfect spot for larger events such as wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours or corporate events. In addition, there’s ample space for guests to mingle or to customize a wedding ceremony.
Elinor + TW Miller, Jr Community Conference Center
Another versatile area is the conference rooms. These can be arranged to accommodate different types of presentations or meetings and are fully equipped with technology hookups. The collapsing wall can easily be tucked away to expand the rooms for larger audiences.
They are also a great area to hold a wedding reception and can be easily transformed to fit your wedding style. For example, the door panels can be fully removed to create a more open and inviting atmosphere.
Nutrition Theatre
There’s an accessible private kitchen on hand as well for the convenience of cocktail hours. It can also be used to book intimate gatherings such as private cooking classes.
Bamboo Garden and Outdoor Balcony
The Wellvue has several outdoor spaces as well for guests to enjoy. The outdoor patios are where guests can enjoy the garden during a cocktail hour day or night for a more intimate setting. The balconies at The Wellvue can be utilized for cocktail hours as well or to hold private dinners.

THE AXE TRAP & RÊMĒDY
On the other end of the spectrum is a fun and unique venue called The Axe Trap & Remedy. This venue is a coffee bar by day and a vibrant cocktail bar by night with an experience you won’t forget: axe throwing!
This 5,000 sq. foot venue has an industrial theme with a relaxed vibe and a 1,200 sq. foot outdoor deck. It’s modern and edgy with dark decor and low-hanging lights.
The Bar
The bar is BEAUTIFUL. It has dark wood accents, vintage gold-framed mirrors, and modern lights, making this a really cool setting for client receptions and cocktail parties. Serving Foxtail Coffee by day and tasty libations by night!
The Main Area
The Axe Trap & Remedy is a mostly open area with cozy nooks for seating. The decor is funky and fun, with plenty of space for mingling.
The Axe Stations
This venue adds a fun twist to your event with the fun activity of axe throwing! There are several lanes to test your throwing skills and tables for those who prefer to watch. Axe throwing is a great team-building activity and a unique experience for guests or co-workers to have.
This event space is ideal for networking events, cocktail parties, corporate events, and so much more!
