About The Woodruff
Built in 1916 for Orlando businessman and state legislator Seth B. Woodruff and designed by pioneering Orlando architect Murry S. King, The Woodruff on Lake Lucerne is a two-story yellow brick historic mansion graced with elliptical arches and early Prairie School influence. Set on a 0.71-acre lot on the south shore of Lake Lucerne with views of the downtown Orlando skyline, the 5,510-square-foot property is intimate by design—ideal for weddings, corporate gatherings, rehearsal dinners, cocktail hours, and private celebrations of up to 99 guests.
Rentals include the first-floor common areas and grounds—featuring The Parlor, The Living Room, The Café, The Sunroom, The Study, The Patio, and The Lawn—with larger gatherings hosted outdoors on the lawn, on the patio, or under a tent.

Venue Details & Features
- Approx. 5,510 sq. ft. historic mansion on a 0.71-acre lakefront lot. Event rentals include the first-floor common spaces—The Parlor, The Living Room, The Café, The Sunroom, and The Study—plus the outdoor Brick Patio and Lakeside Lawn. Built for intimate gatherings of up to 99 guests, with larger gatherings hosted on the lawn or under a tent. (Individual room dimensions TBD; upper floors are private offices and not part of event rentals.)
- Vendors must be approved by The Woodruff; a preferred vendor list is available. All caterers and vendors must provide proof of license and insurance prior to the event, and catering has access to an on-site prep kitchen.
- Beverage and bar services must be provided by an approved, licensed, and insured vendor.
- 236 South Lucerne Circle East, Orlando, FL 32801 — located on the south shore of Lake Lucerne in downtown Orlando with downtown skyline views and convenient access to I-4 and SR 408.
- On-site parking is included, with additional street parking available on Ponce de Leon Place and Annie Street.
